Jessie is a registered dietitian, professor, researcher, and a fellow member of the IBS club, with a love for all things gut health, science, and nutrition. Her passion for gut health comes not only from working through her own IBS troubles, but also through 10 years of research on gut health and the gut microbiome. Currently, her research focuses on the impact of and dietary and lifestyle factors on gastrointestinal health and the gut microbiome. In addition to research, Jessie is very passionate about education and nutritional science communication, and does so regularly through social media, podcasts, and various speaking engagements. From breaking down nutrition science to busting myths that are so prevalent in today’s society, her main goal is to empower individuals to become responsible consumers of online nutrition content and experts on their own bodies.
