The Mentoring Lab is my first point of call when I need nutrition coaching information. It provides a wealth of information for students, people just starting out in the business, and advanced practitioners in everything from business-building to social media advice, client protocols to the latest research. The group is friendly and helpful and there's always someone to lend a hand finding information, giving feedback, or providing practical advice when working with a challenging client. Missing are the usual trolls and time-wasters found in many other public forums - it's refreshing to be in touch with so many people from around the globe who are as eager to share information as they are to offer support.

I have been a member of the Mentoring Lab for five months, and have already taken so much away from it! I was blown away by not only the quality of the content and the delivery but also the diversity of the information. The nutrition lectures cover the science that would provide a solid foundation of knowledge for anyone, as well as the business and soft skills content that teaches how to apply this knowledge and turn it into a sustainable business. No matter what level of knowledge someone comes in with, I’d put money on there being useful and accessible learning opportunities available. On top of the Lab content itself, you also get to be part of a large network of like-minded and helpful individuals. The Facebook group is a fantastic community. Not only do you have access to the Mac-Nutrition content, you have the knowledge of 700+ other professionals, who are all too happy to help at the click of a button!

The Mentoring Lab is the most friendly community on the internet. It makes me feel like I belong in this group of highly knowledgeable fitness professionals and experts. It's a super active and supportive group. Special mention to Dr Spencer Nadolsky who has answered many questions about my client with underactive thyroid and adrenal deficiency - he has provided invaluable advice that would have cost me a lot being outside of the Mentoring Lab. I would highly recommend the Lab for fitness professionals who want to move forward and feel supported by such a like-minded community.

Working as a self-employed nutrition professional can be a lonely place, but being part of the Lab has allowed me to be part of a hugely supportive community with access to a number of experts and experienced practitioners. Similarly, access to a vast array of resources covering everything from accounts and GDPR to softs skills and nutritional science has been hugely helpful for me whilst setting up my consultancy. It has helped provide a lot of guidance on a number of key areas that weren’t covered during my MSc but are vital areas when it comes to setting up a business.

The expert lecture content is excellent at providing evidence-based information on a wide variety of nutrition-related subjects. So no matter what you're looking for there is likely to be something that will be both practically useful and informative!
